Deutsch: „Das Wappen zeigt in Gold (gelb) einen silbernen (weiß) gegitterten roten Balken, der an der vorderen Flankenstelle ein gestürztes schwarzes Flammenschwert überdeckt.“ Der gegitterte Balken ist das Wappen der Familie von Bornheim und findet sich 1319 im Breniger Schöffensiegel. Das Flammenschwert bezieht sich auf das alte Schöffensiegel von Waldorf von 1380, das den Pfarrpatron St. Michael figürlich zeigt. Statt der figürlichen Darstellung ist das Attribut St. Michaels, das Flammenschwert, gewählt.
English: „The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village Brenig, which dates from the 13th century. It showed the arms of the Lords of Bornheim, from which the bar in the present arms is derived. The sword was added as a symbol of St. Michael, the patron saint of the village of Waldorf. His image was seen on the seals of Waldorf since the 14th century.“
