Deutsch: „Das Wappen der Stadt Troisdorf enthält in Silber (Weiß) vier 3 : 1 angeordnete schwebende Kugeln, die durch schwarze Stäbe zu einem T verbunden sind. Die Kugeln des Querstabes sind rot, die des Längsstabes blau.“ Das Wappen wurde nach der Gemeindereform neu gestaltet. Es stellt die Initiale "T" der Stadt dar. Die vier Kugeln stehen für die Gemeinden, aus denen das heutige Troisdorf entstand. Das "T" erinnert an ein Molekül in Anlehnung an die chemische Industrie der Stadt.

English: „The arms were newly designed and show the initial of the town, made up of four villages (former municipalities and Friedrich-Wilhelms Hütte). The T is shown as a molecule, indicating the importance of the chemical industry for the municipality (compare also Bergkamen).“
