Română: Atenție, fotografia nu arată situația reală de la 1 septembrie 1939. Este o punere în scenă a zilei de 14 septembrie 1939 în scopuri de propagandă germană ([7], [8]). Soldaţi germani distrugând punctul polonez de trecere a frontierei de la Sopot, în septembrie 1939. Invadarea Poloniei a marcat declanşarea luptelor celui de-al doilea război mondial în Europa.
