Params needed[çavkaniyê biguhêre]

Silav GPinkerton. I am gonna remove a bunch of params from the template since we don't want a lot of random categorization. It seems like we need the |fa= coz it would be nice to show there are a shitton of featured articles that we need to expand. But |topic= is definitely going. What do you think? Silav Balyozxane that seems reasonable; a slimmed down simple template that will work with languages and featured articles is best. Thanks for working on this! GPinkerton (gotûbêj) 16:21, 27 gulan 2021 (UTC)[bersiv bide]
@GPinkerton: It's ready for use. No need to use |otherarticle=, also instead of |fa= let's go with |bijartî=. Balyozxane (gotûbêj) 16:38, 27 gulan 2021 (UTC)[bersiv bide]
Awesome, I'll try it out. GPinkerton (gotûbêj) 17:20, 27 gulan 2021 (UTC)[bersiv bide]
Seems to work well. Very well done! One thing I've noticed is that it spells "English" with the extra "i" ("îngilîzî"/"Engilish"!). ("şablon:ziman-en" does not do this, but "şablon:cite journal" does.) I think this should be centrally standardized somehow (ideally without the "i"). @GPinkerton We're using a parser function {{#language}} for the names. We can change the lang names on translatewiki.net but I'm waiting for the results of wikt:Wîkîferheng:Daxwazên_standardkirinê#inglîz,_inglîzî,_Inglîstan, Balyozxane (gotûbêj) 18:26, 27 gulan 2021 (UTC)[bersiv bide]
On that subject you might find this extraordinary document (India Office, circa 1919) interesting. It has "Inglistān" and "Inglīzī". (Comparison with the other languages listed (see also previous page) is illuminating.) Chyet's new edition Kurmanji-English Dictionary (Ferhenga Birûskî, a century later) has "Înglîzî" and "Înglîz". Either way, the "ngl" triconsonant is the real universal name of the country/people/language, the vowel sounds either side change but adding vowel sounds in between the n g and l seems like hypercorrection or a copy of the Italian "Inghilterra".
